emagazine
The publication: a brief statement
emagazine is a social minded publication and an international contemporary art platform, acting as a prime host for projects focused on art beyond aesthetics powered by Emagazine for the Arts, Non-profit Cultural Organization.
As a virtual publication, edited in pdf, it aims to foster all relationships born from art itself powering communication by reducing the distance between audience and artwork. As a social gathering point, it aims to connect also those people not directly linked to art world with those deeply committed to art developments, using common issues affecting us all, allowing this way to exhibit an unprecedented amount of perspectives and views, with an exponential growth in participating voices.
emagazine, as an art vehicle, seeks projects conceived to interact with the audience, claiming an active posture from the public. Is the kind of resource that helps art documentation to find its way into readers’ hands in a friendly manner, hopefully keeping their attention and inducing further reading and viewing using the links provided as relevant and authorized content to be consulted.
emagazine structure
Structured as an index of independent spaces where artists and curators’ projects are hosted, emagazine allows each guest to help define how documentation should be presented. emagazine gives a unique frame to artists, curators, galleries and institutions to deploy their own rules and terms within their granted spaces.
Design as a core element
Design is the key to address and approach emagazine’s audience, working to deliver each project personality with a user centered work frame, a philosophy deeply linked to the way electronically documents are handled.
Names and content
emagazine’s rule of thumb is to address its audience with a portfolio of leading art names. Mixing their expertise, goodwill and well doings with emagazine issues guidelines; it brings contextual and specific discussions to its table.
Distribution, why we are different
emagazine’s investment plan assures consistent presence in all major art sources and websites, using banner ads and targeting newsletter distributions. This, combined with a link building policy and a network in continuous growth, aims to reach “all possible viewers” and acknowledge the art projects featured in our content index.
